"We have the power to build the city we deserve.

Let's rise together to meet this moment."

Meet Christian

I'm a community organizer, an advocate, and a democratic socialist running to represent parts of Bushwick and East New York (including Cypress Hills and City Line) in the State Assembly. I'm running because the status quo is failing us. We have the power to build a society where everyone has access to housing, healthcare, safety, and dignity—but to do it we need representatives who are present in and accountable to our community.

Power belongs to the people. Let’s rise together to meet this moment.

A Better Tomorrow

The platform

Our city is at a turning point. New Yorkers are demanding a new kind of politics that puts people above profit and treats every resident with the dignity they deserve. For our agenda to succeed, our state has to step up and lead.

Keep Brooklynites in Brooklyn

Across Bushwick and East New York, speculative investors have gotten rich by displacing thousands of our neighbors. We can stop this but we have to stand up to the real estate lobby and do everything possible to fight displacement, even as we build new housing.

Defend NY from Trump and ICE

We need to stand together against ICE and immigration fear mongering. We are all better off when our city is welcoming to everyone— we have the resources to care for one another and we have to refuse the idea that working class communities should compete for scraps.

Invest in
public safety

Real public safety comes from community investment and prevention. We have to do more than just respond to crime when it happens, we have to address the generational cycles of poverty, and inequality that cause crime in the first place.

Tax the rich

Federal budget cuts have created a $15B deficit for New York. Now more than ever, we need our state to  increase taxes on millionaires and billionaires so that we can build a city where everyone has access to housing, healthcare, safety, and dignity.
